The EU-funded project ‘UVAR Box’ is finalising its efforts in digitising data related to urban vehicle access regulations (UVARs). Therefore, a final conference will be held from 10-13:00 on 7 September 2022 at the POLIS Network office in Brussels. The event will be organised in a hybrid format. The three-hour event will explain the digitisation processes, user benefits of digital UVAR data, as well as an insight into upcoming plans for UVARs in Europe.

The aim of the two-year UVAR Box project, which started in September 2020, is the digitisation and exchange of data of UVARs across Europe to facilitate the private, public, and commercial use of UVARs. This was achieved thanks to the dedication of the national coordinators, who have engaged with cities, regions, and the national level. These transport and mobility experts facilitated the processes in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, and Italy.
