ReVeAL Final Conference

The ReVeAL project (Regulating Vehicle Access for Improved Liveability) is organising its Final Conference on 8 and 9 November 2022 in London, United Kingdom, at The City Centre, 80 Basinghall St, London EC2V 5AG. We recommend you to register here. For more information about the event, please click here

The EU-funded R&I CIVITAS ReVeAL project aims to add Urban Vehicle Access Regulations (UVARs) and associated policies and technologies to the standard range of urban mobility transition approaches in cities across Europe. The overarching mission of the project is to enable cities to optimise urban space and transport network usage, not only to decrease emissions and noise pollution but also to improve accessibility, sustainability and livability for every member of society.

As ReVeAL is approaching the end of its activities, our Consortium is putting effort into channelling the quantitative and qualitative data of pilots and other UVAR best practices to fine-tune support tools to help cities find their perfect UVAR match in a holistic way.

Providing a real innovation with regards to modern governance and the way in which existing mobility systems and urban structures should be harmonised with new UVAR technologies and services, the ReVeAL tools serve as a tangible way of future-proofing UVARs and, in synergy with the UVAR Box and UVAR Exchange projects, lay the basis for an accurate and interoperable EU-wide real-time UVAR information digital service in the near future.

The final event of ReVeAL will represent an occasion to take stock of the work and results achieved in the last three years of activities – in particular, the ReVeAL tools. The Conference will be also a great opportunity for UVAR experts and mobility planners interested in access regulations to meet the pioneering ReVeAL cities of Helmond (NL), Jerusalem (IL), London (UK), Padova (IT), Vitoria-Gasteiz (ES) and Bielefeld (DE) and network for the future of UVAR.
